Journey to Here
I've
been self employed since I was 18 years of age or sooner if you count
lending lunch money for usurious rates in junior high and high school.
Truth is until the age of 35 I was an idea addict. By the age of 35
I had been in 4 different businesses and worked on at least 10. Along
the way I studied my internal battles in truly succeeding in a business
versus just bumping along. What I discovered I would later write and
speak on before large crowds of entrepreneurially minded people. I
discovered stuff Freud, Jung, Watson and Skinner may have touched
on but because they weren't entrepreneurs, obsessed with turning ideas
into big money (ok... rumor has it Freud may have sold dope) they
didn't dig as deep as I have in helping people understand the often
difficult and frustrating world of entrepreneurship. I put my sites
on people like us that want to take ideas to the next level. I studied
and taught in business schools how to plan businesses and what I saw
was that traditional business planning was not built for the real
entrepreneur. I set out to build a better mouse trap - and did.
